Nothing surprises me any more. I no longer expect good things to happen or anything to get better. I see all these headlines and just think “yeah, that may as well happen.” What a joy, to know that this isn’t just the worst year of my life, it’s the best year of the rest of my life.
As bad as that feeling is, it might be the beginning of change. If everyone starts feeling this way, we might as well take those fucks down with us.
