A video recorded last week has ignited outrage online after it captured ICE agents violently arresting two brothers in South Norwalk, Connecticut, in broad daylight without producing a warrant. The men, identified as Ricardo Chavez and his brother, reportedly hold legal status to live and work in the United States.

The footage (credit @alwaysfilmthepolice) shows plainclothes ICE agents forcibly detaining the men in a public area. Witnesses say the agents refused to provide identification or present a warrant when asked, instead resorting to physical force and a taser to subdue the brothers before hauling them away. They also allegedly damaged their vehicle.

Community members who know the Chavez family insist that both men are law-abiding residents with valid documentation. “They work, they pay taxes, and they belong here,” said one South Norwalk resident who witnessed the arrest. “This was nothing short of a kidnapping.”

Right, so you don’t give a fuck about your neighbor. Stop pretending you do, and just admit you want to let bad people burn down the system and think your perfect ideology will rise from the ashes. If your neighbor gets stabbed, and babies start dying at an accelerated rate, so be it.

    Just. Own. It.

What the fuck are you talking about?

It seems like you just made a person up in your head to get mad at.

Look back at my posts and point to the thing I said that suggests I want to “let bad people burn down the system and think your perfect ideology will rise from the ashes”.

Because that is the opposite of what I want, or what I expect would happen in America, so I’m confused what words I said that coukd possibly give that impression.

You’re standing there, telling your neighbor “at least I didn’t pick a child killer!”

The part where you abstained from helping your neighbor, and the 9 additional children, etc.

When did I ever say anything about how I voted?

In any case, my individual vote had no effect at all on the outcome of the election. A change in dem policy and action would have had an effect.

You picked up an argument against people who pushed against voting for Kamala. If you’re defending a position you don’t hold, that’s on you.

I pointed out what politicians need to do to get elected, namely improve the material conditions of the people whose votes they want, but other ways too. If you interpret “dems need to not suck shit to earn votes” as telling people not to vote, thats on you.

If you want to pretend there wasn’t a huge base of people here telling others that they are genocide supporters if they vote for Kamala, that’s on you.
