It’s uncanny that they managed to gut the national weather service the same year that we have had the strangest summer weather i can remember. There have been days this July that have been downright pleasant. I was too cold in the pool a couple days ago. Weird in Texas.

And I mean, I knew they were important for hurricanes and such… But holy shit, a few months after the cuts and rainstorms are killing dozens
I’m pretty sure people dying was the goal, otherwise it’s difficult to cull the population and disguise it as cost cutting.
Okay? I’m frankly more worried about how they’re doing a genocide and killing medical care, but I still think meteorologists have shown their value through their absence
