Yeah, but SteamPay is the future
No way. I would looooove a screenshot of this tweet
Edit:
I believe thats how Android works. As I recall, it uses fscrypt.
What a journey! Thanks for sharing these over the past year 😁
If this is upendable, im sure the next distro will be fun for this user.
IMO, its not a brand issue. Its a seller/batch/brand issue. Hard drives are sensitive to vibration, and if you buy multiple drives from the same place, at the same time, and all the same brand and model, you might be setting yourself up for a bad experience if someone accidentally slammed those boxes around earlier in their life.
I highly recommend everyone buy their drives from different sellers, at different times, spread out over various models from different brands. This helps eliminate the bad batch issue.
And linux distros
Calyx literally has the same issue. Consistently late to apply patches.
There can be updates pushed out while not addressing this issue.
Fairphone has never previously provided full security patches for anywhere close to their promised support. The Fairphone 4 doesn’t currently receive proper security support but rather receives the Android Security Bulletin patches consistently 1-2 months late and many of the recommended patches (Pixel Update Bulletin) years late.
Fairphone 4 does not include a secure element and does not provide many of the expected hardware security features. It also has a broken/incomplete implementation of verified boot and attestation.
Are these issues fixed with recent Fairphones?
Let everyone else prove it sucks first. Easy W strategy.
