Not entirely. Immigration courts and judges are run by the Chief Immigration Judge who is appointed by the Attorney General who works under the Executive branch. They are not part of the Judicial branch.

Immigration Court is formally known as the Executive Office of Immigration Review. This is a department within the Department of Justice. Immigration Judges are appointment by the Attorney General and are not federal judicial branch judges.

Trump has in fact ordered the immigration judges to dismiss immigration cases as soon as the lawyers them to so ICE can arrest people more quickly, and they are doing it. Well, the ones he hasn’t already fired are doing it.

Correct, but I think you meant Executive branch, not “administrative branch.” Immigration judges work directly for the Executive branch under the DoJ and thus take their orders directly from Trump. Essentially, they are ICE in dresses rather than body armor and masks. Though I imagine the next step will be for them to also put on masks and to redact their names from all the filings and rulings so that they will never face the wrath they so richly deserve.

Absolutely. As I pointed out in another post in this thread, FEMA declared that part of the camp was on a flood plain in 2011. The camp appealed and got them to change the designation which would have required flood insurance and forced them to build to stricter standards as they built more structures on the flood plain.

Trump has instructed immigration judges, who all work for the executive branch, to quickly dismiss all immigration cases when requested. If he can do that, he can probably order them to only have in person cases.

While true, that doesn’t matter anymore since being a citizen isnt a defense against this administration’s most egregious offenses. American citizens have disappeared into ICE custody already.

Since there is no due process being allowed for ICE detainees, they have no ability to challenge they’re detention and prove their citizenship. Removing someone’s citizenship is irrelevant if you they can be disappeared by ICE anyway.
