In fact my family in Texas report a sudden disappearance of ICE in all areas in Texas since the storms… It’s almost as if someone can pick and choose who’s being targeted based on who has the president’s attention at any given moment… I sure hope Texas isn’t expecting their remaining migrant population to help rebuild their shattered and in need communities? That sure would be evil to restart the deportations after those private Christian camps and homes get rebuilt with migrant hands? Nah, conservatives would never be that evil.

The issue is everyone in America should be educated up to a college degree level in core areas! Yes, absolutely we need more people going into the trades. But that doesn’t mean those people shouldn’t still have a college level understanding of math, reading, science, physical education, philosophy, health, history, sociology, and soooooo much more! We need to maximize the knowledge of Americans (of all people) if we are going to survive. Also that gives our younger people time to find themselves. In a perfect world you wouldn’t fully enter the work force until around 25 years old. Yes that late. Until then people should be exploring, learning, and practicing trades. Not grinding away the moment they are physically able to.

Oh I stopped paying those years ago and I realized the older generations trapped us. They literally tricked us into believing ideals and walking a path they designed to financially and spiritually cripple us so their end of life will be as comfortable as possible. Don’t give them what they want!

Because they are not OFFERS! There’s a reason trade deals are thousands of pages long and take months if not years to negotiate. A letter demanding a renegotiate of already agreed to and legally binding trade deals isn’t a offer. It’s illegal at worse and profoundly dumb at best. The letters simply demands other countries sign on the dotted line without knowing what money and products are to be exchanged. It’s USING, “trust us BRO, we’ll work out the details once you sign” tactic, but on actual fucking countries. (this after he literally tore up an actual trade deal with those countries. WHY WOULD THEY SIGN ANYTHING WHEN WE JUST BROKE THE LAST DEAL!?)

The teacher profession is all but dead in America. A lot of people that would be bad for students get weeded out through years of education and training. Most school districts are luck if they have more than 50% of their teachers educated/trained. The rest are individuals who could pass a background check. Poor areas, are under 30%. Just because someone can pass a background check doesn’t mean they should be around minors. But schools have no other option.

Culture… Whenever I go over seas I’m actually surprised how fast US culture is disappearing. Movies, music, and such was something we held a strong monopoly on. But but that’s only because we’re the most technically advanced to mass produce such things. Now. Nearly every other nation especially China’s and Russia’s “Hollywood” pumps out enough content to satisfy their demographics. American (western) content used to be the only thing on the shelves over seas. Now we’re relegated to just a corner. The world doesn’t care as much about our pop music and movies. Those have greatly decreased in quality anyways.

This. The only thing outside of oil we can export in mass is our agricultural products. But years of disinformation and corporations greed even our dirt is infected with their taint.

It used to be known as swyft keyboard. Then Microsoft gobbled it up a couple years back. Now it fucking has copilot. I have never fucking once started a sentence with “Con” I’ve started a whole fucking bunch with congratulations! (I work in education and that’s how I text and email parents when they’ve been taken off the after school program wait list. Wait list because we don’t have the funding to support more children. But my phones Ai got a carve out on this recent budget bill… We are sooo fucked.)

No usually my phones keyboard would finish con-gratulations when I double hit spacebar. But the last update decided my keyboard app I’ve been using for 5 years now with no issues needed Ai. And the Ai decided my 5 years of predictive typing is wrong and I ment con. I’m so annoyed I don’t correct it half the time.
