Whats-her-face ate staple sauce, a heaping bowl of staple sauce.

Look let’s ease of the Xi Jinping dicksucking. The CCP is an objectively oppressive regime with a terrifying human rights track record. All the tankie whataboutism in the world isn’t going to change that.

This is another take on the concept, really compelling read.
More than one country can be bad. Israel is very bad. China is also very bad.
They do the thing until the thingymajogger flips, obvs.
I mean imo everyone’s threat model should be at least their local police if not the national authorities. Local cops have cellebrite. Only the latest pixel is secure before first unlock on this chart.
I’m finna go dumbphone in a Faraday bag.
Soo basically to stay ahead of this you gotta have the newest pixel running the latest build always… that sounds expensive.
Very cool. I’ve got an old Dell mini PC running batocera and I very much like it. My only gripe is that scraping the art for a large library takes an obscene amount of time.
I started playing around with solar just for hobbyist/emergency preparedness type stuff and it’s actually crazy how good and cheap the tech is now. With blackrock getting into the power grid business and datacenters driving up prices I’m considering investing in enough panels/batteries to run most of my daily power usage so the price hikes don’t hit as hard later on.
How has nobody used to mention that this ALREADY used to be a feature they had before they killed it. I remember in high school me and the girl I was dating used to send eachother playlists. I didn’t even know spotify had killed the feature until I went looking for one of those playlists in my inbox that used to be there.
I ran mainline debian on the surface pro 2 for years and it was lovely.
My linux workflow: Try installing with apt. Try installing with snap. Try installing with npm. Try installing with flatpak. Try installing with cargo. Try building with git. Try installing with the shady curl script from stackexchange. If it breaks or refuses to work in the first place try a similar application from a completely different dev.
“They already have access to it and that is what we are planning on doing. For the listing, we are literally going to give them a list of individuals who we received detainer holds on in the first place. ICE actually gives us that information because we don’t track people’s immigration status,” said Sheriff Miyamoto.
So essentially the DOJ request has no effect whatsoever. It’d be like if the IRS sent you a request to tell them how much you owe on taxes. They already know.
Not very exciting or interesting but I prefer xubuntu. All the things I need from mainline Ubuntu, none of the things I don’t.
I’d feel safer at the waffle house.
