They’re probably not 100% gay. Like most people have acknowledged already, sexuality is a spectrum. People who are very strongly and verbally homophobic are at least partially in denial about their latent homosexuality. So they’re probably bi, but only a fraction gay.

Homophobia is a clear sign of “I’ve thought about it a lot, but I need to be accepted by my bigoted friends”
