Eggs are not produced by women. All the eggs they’ll ever have developed in the womb. The ovaries simply store them until ovulation where they mature and are released. Women also go through menopause around middle age, so are people over 50 or so no longer considered women if they don’t produce eggs? Then what gender are they?
