2 days agoI still feel like that’s an overestimation. I have worked there in the past, and the best and brightest often are because they’re passionate people. They tend to get undervalued and taken advantage of because of that passion.
This is a secondary account that sees the most usage. My first account is listed below. The main will have a list of all the accounts that I use.

Most definitely. It takes a generation to inspire develop and select these kinds of experts as well as build the kind of experience that you need to push the boundaries of human knowledge.
The result of this move is invariably an American dark age. We’re not going to be a relevant part of human progress for the foreseeable future.

0·11 days agoI could imagine a future where Windows is just a proprietary DE over a Linux system. I don’t think it’s coming anytime soon because of the development cost it would impose, but I don’t see why they would go to such efforts maintaining a system they could get for free if the desktop user base keeps shrinking. They’re just too greedy not to do that. Even the backwards compatibility with Windows software is becoming a solved problem.
Aside from my above rant, the PC is definitely fast becoming an enthusiast/business platform. I opened a retirement account the other day through my smart phone!
